Today is the first day of Brachial Plexus Injury Awareness Week. Most BPI's occur at birth and ARE preventable. It takes 60-140 pounds of pressure on a babys head/neck to damage the network of nerves called the Brahcial Plexus. 60-140 POUNDS of pressure on a tiny baby.
